WAGES AND BENEFITS

CBCC summer staff positions are paid at the rate of $28.00 per 8 hour day plus housing (dorms) and meals*. Summer staff also receive tips from guests and are eligible for our summer scholarship programs. Typically summer staff work a 5.5 day work week with at least 1.5 days off each week depending on staffing levels and workload.

Most summer staff arrive during the first or second week of June. Labor Day is the last official summer staff work day. Applicants who can work the entire summer are given priority in hiring. Opportunities to arrive early or stay later are available.

Average summer staff earnings is approximately $2,500 (including scholarship).

SCHOLARSHIPS

CBCC is pleased to offer the CBCC Summer Scholarship program for summer staff to help with the cost of college tuition. Awards are based on financial need, job performance, and successful completion of the summer commitment. Each summer, CBCC awards approximately $10-15,000 in scholarship money to our summer staff with individual scholarships as high as $1000. Use the donate button below to give a secure online credit card donation directly to the Summer Staff Scholarship fund.

CBCC also offers the Al and Dorothy Roth Scholarship which is open to summer staff who will be attending Ecola Bible School in the fall. The scholarship was established by Dorothy Roth in memory of her husband Al, a longtime supporter of CBCC and Ecola Bible School. One $1,000 and two $500 scholarships will be available each summer.
