Hospitality Team

Marc Hagman, our executive director, is new to the CBCC team, but not new to the conference center. In addition to attending conferences for many years, his preparation for this role came through his time as a church business administrator and as a pastor. Marc and his wife, Katrin, are raising three amazing children—Benjamin, Linnea and Annika. Football, fashion and adventure are in the focus for these 16 to 11 year olds. Their family time rarely lacks for laughter or interesting conversation. After his love for the Lord and his family, Marc’s enthusiasm for organizing, study and fitness get his time & attention.

Patrick Bergman joined our team in 2011 as program manager. Along with oversight of conferences he oversees marketing and the ministries of Charis Kids Child Care and the Recreation Center. Patrick and his three kids have most recently come from Omaha, Nebraska. He has been a successful pastor and youth pastor for a number of years and is very familiar with camp and conference ministry. Patrick loves to golf and build furniture when time allows.

Jean Hand, volunteer coordinator and women’s conference host, joined the conference center staff January 1, 2013.  Jean has 3 children and one grandson who live in Oregon.  She was the executive director of a large sports non-profit before joining the CBCC team.
Jean loves the beauty of the North Coast and enjoys golfing and hiking.  Her passions also include serving in local and short term overseas ministries.

In addition to our hospitality team, our staff includes more than fifty full-time staff who are committed to providing the opportunity for our guests to experience spiritual refreshment in a setting free from the distractions of every-day life.
